Nicolas Pitre

Senior Software Engineer — Embedded, Linux & Zephyr Systems

I'm an embedded and real-time systems engineer based in Montreal, with three decades of low-level work across bootloaders, firmware, device drivers, and operating-system kernels.

I've been contributing to open source for over 25 years, mainly to the Linux kernel and the Zephyr RTOS: CPU architecture support, memory and power management, and device drivers. Along the way I've also contributed to Git and to accessibility tools. I like working close to the metal and turning hard, constrained problems into clean, upstreamed solutions.
